Selecting the right print size for the image...

It's easy to select a print size and then glance over the image to the right, however it's a good idea to check it out and see if there are any shaded areas shown - as these would be cropped out of the print.

Below are some screen shots that show the process of selecting the print size and seeing if any of the image would be cropped from the print:

Selecting a print size that matches the image ratio will ensure that the whole image is printed

Selecting a print size that doesn't match the image ratio will result in the shaded areas being cropped from the print - which may be desirable, if you needed a square print or wanted the image to be viewed in a landscape orientation.

note that not all images will suit such cropping

If you are aiming to crop the image so that it fits in a frame you already have - just select the size suitable for your frame and then move/rotate the image as shown below so that your print is just how you want it!

Once the print size has been selected, if there is any cropping, the print area can be moved around the image to select the area to be printed - hover your mouse cursor over the image, click & move the image around to suit

The print area can also be reduced in size - move your mouse cursor to the corners of the crop, click & drag to suit

Any cropped area can also be rotated through 90 degrees - click on the 'Rotate' button to do this

Selecting the right print size can seem a bit daunting, but hopefully this will give you the confidence to make sure you don't inadvertently crop part of the image out when selecting a print size.
