Wildlife images to buy
Late in the day after giving up hope of seeing any deer, I spotted some moving towards a gap between two copses - I moved downhill a little so that if they kept heading in the same direction I would be able to take some shots of them silhouetted against the horizon as the sun went down. Reckon it was a good move!
There were other Long Tailed Macaque's around but this one seemed to be hanging around on it's own at the entrance to a cave - which enabled me to isolate it from the cluttered surroundings.
An African Bee-eater bird sits watching for food from it's perch. I could have spent hours watching this and another bird flitting around catching insects in the late afternoon.
This Cheetah was keeping watch whilst some others drank at a waterhole - the intensity of it eyes made this shot ideal for a black & white image with just the eye in colour.
The Oxpecker bird and the Rhino have a special relationship - whilst the bird picks off ticks & insects for food, the Rhino gets cleaned.
A Cheetah, alerted by a nearby movement, stands stock still, ready for whatever comes next.
Very early in the morning, before the sun was fully over the horizon, I came across this Lion with it's head turned towards the dawn giving some gorgeous catchlights in it eyes.
This beautifully coloured bird was perched in a tree right next to where we stopped on safari.
So close you can almost feel the strength of this Lion as it paused to check us over.
You can almost feel the sadness in the eye of one of the few remaining Rhinos in Africa.

These birds of prey like to perch high to view all around for potential meals - this one was high in a dead tree so I was able to see the whole bird.
A black and white shot of a black and white animal! This Zebra was walking towards me in the middle of the road. I deliberately boosted the exposure to blow out the highlights in the background, focusing the viewer on the Zebra.
A Vervet Monkey taking a break from leaping around. At breakfast one morning, this monkey was darting down out of the trees into the dining area to pinch some rolls - and seemed to have great delight in running rings around anyone who was trying to chase it off!
This Red Kite flew pretty low over my head which enabled me to get such a close up shot...a fast shutter speed helped too!
This beautiful Swan was gracefully gliding away from me towards the sunset, casting some terrific golden light over it's back.
The wrinkled skin gives the impression of old age, but this Elephant was still fairly young whilst it grazed around the bush.
This stag was bellowing in the early morning sunlight at the start of rutting season.
